How does it work?

Macular Society Membership costs £22 per year and the first six months are free. After the six months are up we'll ask you if you want to continue your Membership. You're under no obligation to join at the end of the trial and we don't take your payment details up front. Terms and conditions apply.

Whether you are living with macular disease or have been recently diagnosed, we're here to help. Members are at the heart of the Macular Society, and it’s important to provide these terms and conditions to inform you about Membership on applying to become a member. Once you become a member, you accept the terms and conditions set out below, and authorise Macular Society to manage and process your personal information in line with our privacy policy which is compliant with the data protection laws in the UK.

Being diagnosed with a macular condition can leave you worrying about how you will cope with everyday tasks. You may be concerned about losing your independence and not being able to enjoy activities like reading. Having macular disease needn’t mean losing control of your life. There is plenty of support available from professional services and a growing range of equipment called ‘low vision aids’.
